After a vote on the Voice Server, the majority called for Mumble.
So we now have a 24-slot Mumble Server available for everyone. You can find the details for it in the following thread: Here
Ventrilo will be available for a few more days but then it will be shutdown. If you need any help setting up your Mumble client then look to GinSoakedBoy or UltimateTequila for help, or post up in the Mumble thread.

The big Battlefield news going around today is a quote by EA's Chief operating officer John Pleasants basically confirming the development of Battlefield 3; something the Battlefield community has been hoping for all along.
Criterion Games working on a Need For Speed game wasn't the only surprising bit of news that Electronic Arts chief operating office John Pleasants tucked into his presentation at the William Blair Growth Stock Conference I listened to today. Pleasants confirmed he's seen DICE's work on Battlefield 3.
"I've had the luxury of looking at Battlefield 3 over at DICE in Sweden and was highly impressed by the way the team is working on that product," he said. "Of course, that's not [coming out] in the fiscal year, but that is a product that is looking very good."

Our server now has HLstatsX installed.
You can log onto our server and have your kills, deaths and humiliations tracked. You will be able to view these stats in-game and compare yourselves against everyone else on our stats page:
http://battlefieldcommand.hlstatsx.com/
The server is currently set to track stats when 6 or more players join. This will allow you to track your stats globally across all HLstatsX servers.

A brief History of EBC.
Battlefield Command was started by Jery, Izz and Hickman who met at the MYIS 21CW DC tournament and over a number of seasons became friends.
With the release of BF2 they decided it was about time the European players had a locally based tournament with servers and management based within their own time zone.
We have been running for 12 Campaigns now and have built a regular and fun group of players with one common goal. To have fun and play the game in an organised team structure as it was meant to be played.
For Campaign 11-12 we handed the day to day running of the BF2 Tournament to 2 of our Community members Physicist and Finestyle.
